I absoloutly love it! The opening ceremony was really good that I had to stop myself from watching it again on i player! At the moment I think Great Britains got 6 medals and are placed at about 8th in the table. There are only 2 bad things about the olympics this year. One is the fact that I like watching this programme which basically shows highlights of that days events. Very good programme. The only problem is the presenter Gabby Logan. I cannot stand her and I have no reason to not like her. Not one. She just annoys me and nobody else appears to agree with me on the fact. I have to put up with her for an hour a night and yes I know what some might say, you don't have to watch it but I can't help it. She's not even in the programme that much because most of the time they're showing clips. But her just being there annoys me!!
The other thing annoying about the olympics is Michael Phelps. Oh god that is all that they ever go on about. The sheer mention of the olympics and you can guarantee that he will come up in conversation. He's not even British! They concentrate more on his goal to get the 8 gold medals more than they do about our athletes some of the time. In a sadistic kind of way I don't want him to do it. To me he just seems to be too cocky for his own good but my Dad agrees with me so I'm not completely on my own! If he wasn't in my opinion so cocky I might want him to do it. But I don't!!!
It's quite funny actually because my Mum knows the parents of one of the archery team. Larry Godfrey his name is and she knows his Mum. This means she's constantly looking out for him whenever they mention the archery!
